Principal Drake Recognized as FCPS 2020 Region 4 Outstanding New Principal!
Congratulations to Principal Felicia Drake who was recognized as the FCPS 2020 Region 4 Outstanding New Principal and one of five finalists for the 2020 Outstanding New Principal Award!
Felicia describes Cardinal Forest Elementary as the “hub” of the community. She communicates with staff, students, parents, and community members that your voice matters and is needed in our school. Felicia encourages her community to reflect and engage in academic conversations. She strives to ensure that all staff and students are given opportunities to be fully engaged in a manner that challenges them to be leaders and meets their learning needs. Parents are invited to be co-contributors to their students’ education and partners in creating an environment where together we are enlarging student potential. Felicia and the CFES staff have been committed to creating a welcoming environment where cultivating curiosity thrives and kindness seals success.
